Update - March 3, 2021

We are pleased to launch our 2021 season schedule! We are optimistic that we will be able to operate this season. Stay tuned for updates on any modified operations due to Covid-19 guidelines.

Update - June 27, 2020

Unfortunately, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the remainder of our 2020 tours. Several factors were considered when making the decision including the safety of our staff and passengers, occupancy limitations, availability of staff this late in the season and the overall experience considering the Covid-19 limitations. We are offering full refunds on all purchases, or you can convert to a gift card for a future tour date. We are very disappointed, but also looking forward to the future, making more great memories. We will be operational again next year, and we are hopeful that we will may be able to host some special events later this season! We want to thank everyone for the understanding on this.

Update - May 21, 2020

It is with profound disappointment that we announce the cancellation of our June tours due to the ongoing Covid-19 restrictions. Our visitors health and safety is our top priority. All patrons who have purchased tickets for our June tours will be contacted directly in the coming days. Follow us on Facebook to keep up to date on any new developments with our 2020 schedule.

Heritage Tour

We took the Heritage Tour which included a train ride to another little town and got a tour of an elevator. The staff were all great and fun. They offered drinks on train. Even before the tour started they let people tour the Lead engine. It was a really great relaxing day where you get to go back in time.

Pitchfork fondue ride

Interesting ride with historical tidbits offered by the hostess. Excellent meal; super tender steak, mini potatoes, baked beans, coleslaw, buns and watermelon. Beer available on the train and full bar at the ex-church where the supper is held. Live country music at the supper as well. Recommend to all ages.

Informative, interesting and fun for all ages!

The lady and gentleman who conducted the train ride were excellent. Very courteous, great with children. The lady did the commentary and it truly grabbed our attention for the duration of the trip. Would definitely do this again!

Entertaining and Educational

The Heritage train is a lot of fun. The crew was very informative and friendly, and answered all the questions we had. The ride was pretty good, fall weather was great. The elevator tour was a nice little stop and with the fall weather, the photos were amazing!
